What are you really picky about with your bike setup?
I like to have my bars rolled inline with my fork. My shock rebound is pretty slow, and my cables must be neat so they don’t mess with my race plate. I also make sure the bike is really quiet by putting adhesive Velcro on the swing arm.
Describe your current suspension steup and what environment you have it setup for.
My suspension doesn’t vary too much between tracks. It’s always ready to race. Generally quite slow end of stroke rebound on the rear to deal with g-outs, with a harder and faster setup on the front to skip over rocks and roots. My tire pressure probably varies the most, depending on how many sharp rocks there are. Sometimes I’ll run 30 rear and 28 front, other times I’ll run 28 rear and 26 front.
