He's had some shit luck over the years and several near-misses with glory - most notably Schladming when he binned-it coming out of the last woods on a burner of a run. If anybody in the WC circuit is over-due for a huge result, it has to be Brendog.

It was a nice shot, but it was staged. It's right there in the shot with Clay Porter. Fluffy stunt berm! But I wasn't there. Maybe in the shot with Porter he's just fixing the berm that he just smashed to smithereens.

not really....he smashed it and rode out at speed...i have the full sequence, this is just the couple frames in the middle...look for the sequence in the next dirt magazine(issue #138)

Can't wait for my next Dirt. So to get all the facts straight, in the photo, he did smash that berm and speed away. But in the photo with Clay Porter, where he's shoveling that nice sandy roostable dirt, is he; working to fix a berm that he just smashed (If so, good lad.), filling up a berm with nice roostable dirt so that he can then smash it for the cameras, or is the photo with Porter a completely different berm?

Even if it was staged, he nailed it solid. It's safe to say that most of us here couldn't pull that off no matter how well we staged it and no matter how many attempts we made - at least to that level.
Personally, I think they rigged the berm with low-level explosives and detonated them as he was passing by.
