WHAT THE?!? Santa Cruz V10 Fat Bike - 2013 Downhill Bikes at Eurobike 2012 - Mountain Biking Pictures - Vital MTB

This may be a first. Phil Wood was showing off a highly modified V10 featuring Surly's super fat tires. Pretty sure they're about 5" wide. Wow.

Dude that thing is rampage ready. haha. Maybe not sweet on your normal DH trail but Its definitely got its place. You could land in a silt bed no worries. say goodbye to "packing" landings in Utah. Ride the pow!!! haha.

Monster truck style, they should of used a Bigfoot or Gravedigger color scheme.

The Big Fat Larry isn't the best cornering tire. Too round and not enough knobs. Surly is releasing two new 4.7" knobby tires in the near future. Phil Wood is just showing that indeed it is possible to make a FS fat bike. Superior float +

The wheels are 100mm Surly Clown Shoes with 4.7" Big Fat Larry tires. Same as on a stock Surly Moonlander. Anyone who thinks a fat-downhill-bike is a joke hasn't ridden a fat bike. Such a build is truly god-like. DEAL WITH IT.

Yup, that's awesome. Glad to see someone's not taking this whole fat bike thing to seriously.

Is that a custom, extra wide swingarm? It looks skinny, like it's made out of steel.
