Good morning Red Bull Rampage! Sunshine and the yet to be conquered Oakley Icon Sender greeted riders as they made their way to the top of the mountain for qualifier runs. - Trumpore
Game on. Throwing a massive suicide no hander off a feature that many struggle to clear was just one of many ballsy moves that earned Agassiz the top qualifier spot. Yeah boy! - Collins
Agassiz stomped his line with authority, throwing down some huge moves and big tricks. He celebrated by building an even bigger line for finals in the afternoon. - Trumpore
Pierre Edouard Ferry was one of the few riders tricking the jumps on the upper ridges, so it was no surprise that he finished strong in qualifying. - Trumpore
Pierre on a stellar run that won the crowd over. He shares his line with third place qualifier Thomas Genon. - Collins
Pierre was putting in work and charging super hard these past few days, and we're pumped to see it pay off. He wound up second in qualifying. - Collins
Last year Thomas Genon looked a bit out of place on the steep and rugged Utah terrain. This year he stomped trick after trick all the way down. -Trumpore
Genon flipped out a bit in his second qualifying run, but because he had a solid first run, he still landed in third place. - Collins
The sun was barely peeking over the ridge when Brendan Fairclough dropped in for his first run. Nothing like sending a 50 foot canyon gap to wake the mind and get the blood flowing. Sal Masekela thinks it's wild. - Trumpore
Brendan looking for style points on the lower course. It takes some tricks down at the bottom to win over the judges. - Collins
Ryan Howard may not have qualified today, but he was still pumped to progress his riding and survive. - Trumpore
Everyone was impressed at how well R-Dog took on his first Rampage. - Turman
Chris Van Dine sent the boner log way past any form of landing and flat out detonated. Next time buddy. - Collins
A solid showing from Kelly McGarry earned him in a 10th place qualifier position and a spot in the big show. - Collins
Moves like this corked 360 scored McGarry valuable points with the judges. - Trumpore
Gee's gap has already claimed two riders, but for Mitch Chubey the third time was a charm. He nailed it on his way to fourth place. - Trumpore
Mitch Chubey had a rough start to Rampage, but stepped it up and crushed his lines in his second qualifying run. - Collins
"Shirts off on the rock! Shirts off on the rock!" Hecklefest in Utah? It happened. - Turman
Dustin Schaad took a gnarlier tumble than we've ever seen, but was able to walk away from it and was in good spirits just hours later. - Turman
Nico Vink may be focusing on freeride contests and big mountain riding these days, but you can't take the racer speed and style out of him. - Trumpore
Vink looked fast and composed the whole way down. Tomorrow will present a new challenge for him and his one man dig crew. - Turman
Ramon Hunziker grabbed the last qualifying spot by running a very different line down the mountain, even with a bobble. - Collins
Hunziker wowed the hashtag happy crowd over the canyon gap. #Rampage! - Collins
Paul Basagoitia has been off the radar the past few years due to injuries, but today he looked like his old self. A combination of flips, whips and cliff drops landed him in a respectable eight on the day. - Trumpore
Watch for Paul to add a few more tricks tomorrow. His single-crown fork gives him an advantage in that regard. - Turman
Mike Hopkins redeemed himself in a big way today after last year's mishap. Fifth place qualifier for the big mountain specialist. - Turman
Garett Buehler is all about big mountains and big style, so it was no surprise to see him finish the day out in sixth. - Trumpore
Ninth place today for Mike Montgomery with room to improve. - Trumpore
At the end of the qualifier round, three names stood on top. The day was far from over, though, as the remaining riders quickly turned their attention to finals prep. - Turman
No stranger to massive big mountain lines, James Doerfling sends his line right down the heart of the mountain with no room for error. - Collins
Graham Agassiz has a few huge moves in store for his finals line, which is completely different than the one he rode in qualifiers. - Turman
Brendan Fairclough and crew put in some serious hustle this evening, cutting in a "trail" through an otherwise unused area. It has a VERY steep entry. - Turman
Antoine Bizet has a ridiculously steep and narrow line right out of the gate that ends with a relatively small cliff drop. Thomas Genon thinks Antoine may have what to takes to win. - Trumpore
As soon as Tyler McCaul lands this hit, he's preparing for possibly the biggest natural hit at Rampage. - Robinson
We told you it was big... - Robinson
T-Mac's first test run into his monstrous step down. It's bar none the largest man made feature. Although the landing is nearly a freeway ride, it's burly. - Collins
R-Dog knows the McCaul brothers can be a threat on any terrain. Cam lets it fly over Sterling Lorence. - Turman
Andreu Lacondeguy continues to raise the bar on style. - Trumpore
Thomas Vanderham greased this massive hip more than a few times today. It's huge. An unfortunate crash late in the day likely means he won't be riding in the finals. - Turman
Kyle Strait and Cam Zink going up... - Turman
Kyle Strait and Cam Zink going down. They teamed up this week and built themselves a steep, technical and very exposed line down the front face. - Trumpore
Cam Zink can barely walk right now, but still managed to build and ride one of the most exposed lines on the mountain. - Trumpore
Yesterday we saw Geoff Gulevich throwing flips on the top of his line. Today he threw some at the bottom. Notice the two case marks on the lip - they both belong to Gully. #OUCH - Trumpore
Wil White's line is raw and awesome. It follows a few skinny ridges with little room for error. - Turman
Even as the last light fell behind the mountains, riders were still building and testing their lines for Sunday's final. - Trumpore
Kyle Strait going large! - Turman

Coming up a bit short on his landing, Strait bounced 30ft down the transition only to land again, making him the first person to successfully land this massive feature. - Robinson
Cam Zink wasn't far behind... - Turman
