Intense Tracer in action, circa 2000 6
12 of 12
Lake Elsinore, down the street from our factory. Michael Ronning and Chris Kovarik did so much to help boost the brand, built many of the popular DH trails here in the valley and we are really proud to say we got to work with these guys. What an amazing and fun time...even if they wore lycra and no peaks! Riding off into the sunset. Kovarik is still at it, but on a lighter race schedule this year, check out his website at www.kovarikracing.com and as always check www.intensecycles.com for more info on us. Thanks for tuning in. Awesome piece, great shots.
Highlighting such a strong relationship looks like the kind of thing you would see if the rider had chosen to retire though.
I am wondering why Intense haven't supported Kovarik for a full WC season this year? Did he want to cut back or did he not have the support?

sticky i'm referring to the hype on your facbook page" something really special coming to vital" and the rest. (i love vital) FB is a big part of your marketing thanks.my hate is not with sick intense cycles. your comments yetis are slow, my colorado butt buddies, and we dont need any marketing or hype ( calling me dumb) are what i hate and the reason why i dislike you. i still have the emails.
and yes i am the owner of a BA works red m9 once again i love intense, but... well what do you think can we be friends?

This came out looking rad!
Josh, your hater train keeps running strong, keep it up, you are doing great. "Hype and Marketing"...could be perceived as such I guess? but this came about from Vital looking for some Kovarik images, Intense dropped a few to Spomer and he suggested Intense do a flashback piece, simple really.
And no, Intense doesn't need much hype, especially since I heard your hatin ass bought an M9! haha

Sick. Those pics certainly always inspired me too. Kovarik will always be the ruthless, flat pedal destroyer. Definitely one of the flat pedal pioneers. Cool to look back at stuff like that. Thanks guys...
