Ergon's newest packs are designed for enduro racers and the aggressive trail crowd. The biggest design goal was to move the weight of the pack and its contents as close to the rider as possible to improve rider balance.

The BE1 has 150 cubic inches of cargo space while the BE2 has 400. A 50 ounce water bladder is stored down low, and tools/spares go up top. As you can see, both kneepad and helmet straps are a part of the package.

The pack will be sold in Europe with a back protector, but the version sold in the USA will not have this feature.

Ergon has an adjustable strap system designed to fit a wide variety of body sizes. The pack comes in Small and Large sizes, where the difference is strap length.
