http://jillkintner.com/blog/?p=3106 - "For the ladies, we had a small turnout, and not as much scrill, but 2k is not a bad prize purse to take home, I’m stoked."

I was told Jill was stoked on her winnings. Seems that way from looking at her FB posts too. Let's not stoke a fire that's not burning with the entrants.

I dont care, but i think Jill does. Nice hats boys!

Actually, there were 5 women entrants. There were 51 men. The women got double their share share based on entry percentage. The women's field got paid 60 percent deep, and the men's got paid 25 percent deep. So yes, it was totally unfair... to the men in spots 13th-20th who went home empty handed. But, these are the sacrifices we make.

there where (i believe) 6 or 7 female PRO entrants. there where 40+ PRO men's. it's not about descriminating the sexes/classess but purely by the numbers. how do you payout when noone shows up for that class?

Haha. I was out of it last night. My eyes were looking from top to left only. Way to go Mitch and Mikey!

Does anyone think that the mens prize money should be a grand less each and Jill Kintners Three thousand more?

Is there a fuller report on this? I don't know much about this series......

PS Go Mitch!
SRAM, Sol Vista Bike Park and the town of Granby really stepped it up for this race! Big thanks to all the sponsors and Matt Thompson's crew for putting on the most fun and well run downhill race/s in years!
