First Look: Prototype 2013 Nukeproof Pulse DH Bike

Nukeproof introduced their prototype Pulse DH bike at Val D'Isere today. Joe Smith and Nigel Page talk about the details and development of this black beauty. Duncan Philpott

Custom T6 6061 aluminium with triple butted hydroformed tubing allowed the designers to place the shock and links exactly where they wanted.

The new design allows for easier access to the linkage and shock.

Nigel Page discusses his experience with the tweaked suspension curve on the Pulse.

Rounds of testing in a variety of locations have taken place over the last couple weeks and everyone seems stoked on the performance. As seen here, the swingarm was slimmed down significantly to minimize unsprung weight.

The Pulse features a flip chip to adjust wheelbase and chainstay length.

The adjustable rear axle is easy to use.
