Durable, maintainable, and affordable. That's Gravity's new GRID trail/enduro lineup in a nutshell.
The hand built GRID wheels come in 27.5 and 29-inch sizes, with a 15mm front hub and 135/142mm rear axle compatibility. They're Shimano or SRAM XD freehub compatible as well.
Gravity drills angled and offset spoke holes on the rim to reflect the asymmetrical lacing pattern, boosting wheel strength. 28 double butted spokes per wheel. All black for awesomeness.
The hookless bead rim is 27mm wide internally, offering a good width for trail and enduro tires. Wheels go for $599 a set and are tubeless compatible. Weights start at 1850 grams.
Gravity's GRID stems come in 35 and 50mm lengths with a 35mm clamp diameter.
The stems use a 'no gap' faceplate (at the top) to ensure more even clamp force on the bars. They're black anodized.
135 grams for the short version. Not too shabby!
Stems go for $69 a pop. Kelly McGarry rocks the 35mm version.
The GRID cranks use AL6066 hollow forged crank arms, and fit 68/73mm BB shells.
Available in 170 and 175mm lengths, as well as 1X and 2X options.
The 1X version uses the MegaTooth chainring, designed to help keep your chain on with some large teeth and a narrow/wide profile. Cranksets are $249.
Here's an interesting take on an old concept. The 4-piece GRID chainguide uses modular polycarbonate guides and bashguard with tool-free swing-away guides.
Quick release upper and lower guides make installation and service a breeze.
The $109 guide is 160 grams, ISCG05 compatible (and adaptable to a threaded BB), and comes in 28-34 and 34-38 tooth sizes.
Double butted and tapered AL6061-T6 bars round out the GRID group. 35mm clamp diameter, of course.
They're available in 760 and 800mm widths with 20mm rise.
8-degree backsweep, 5-degree upsweep, 303 grams, and $59.
