Leaving Val d'Allos on Monday was tough to do. So rather than leave, we charged up for one more 1200m shuttle ride from top of Col d'Allos before heading to Les 2 Alpes. -Sven Martin
(Chris Ball in audio) Seek and ye shall find. Being in a bike park does not mean all the best trails are on the map or color coded. -Sven Martin
This is Stage 3 looking from Stage 4 across the valley. Sweet hiking singletrack above a cliff. Do not look right while descending this one. -Sven Martin
The Parkins figure they can beat Sven at the MegAvalanche, but I've never seen a shot of them in front of him on the trail. #vitalfasterthandirt -Lee Trumpore
This is mid-climb on Stage 1...a 100+ meter climb next to a distracting lake. The riders have descended from the top of the hill, upper left, and will end in the bottom of the valley, mid right. #toplessfrenchsunbathers -Sven Martin
Stage 1 goes around the lake, but the lack of course tape makes this line clearly the fastest... -Lee Trumpore
...however, anyone taking the fast line will have to contend with various obstacles on the beach. -Lee Trumpore
Al Stock spent the day cruising the town for.... chain lube? -Lee Trumpore
Keaton Ward of SRAM has been enjoying his first trip to Europe while picking up hitchhiking photographers between events. -Lee Trumpore
Jerome Clementz has being playing it cool, getting here Sunday night, riding every possible trail and hoping that one or two of them were in the race. Well, unlucky for him this one wasn't. -Sven Martin
A similar photo has been getting a lot of likes on Instgram today, but this is better because there is full tire-to-ass buzz. Dan Atherton doing what he does best . Huck to flat. There is seriously zero landing slope on this jump. -Sven Martin
Anka Martin riding one of the more famous trails, Diablo to 666. Hard to take a bad photo out here. -Sven Martin
Birthday boy, Jon Cancellier, gets rowdy on the media recon run. Riding the tracks was forbidden, but we made our own rules in the spirit of enduro. -Lee Trumpore
After 3 weeks of enduro, FedEx has been busy re-stocking all the athletes here in Europe. #stikmanlovesenduro -Lee Trumpore
Lars 'n Bars taking is style tips from the L2A locals. It was tough being away from home for the 4th of July. -Lee Trumpore
Lars 'n Bars looking proper and hoping rocks from his drift don't land on someone below looking for chain lube. -Sven Martin
John Parkin from the top of Col d'Allos just a few days earlier. -Sven Martin
Steve Jones from Dirt can't decide between 20- or 29-inch, so in true Jones fashion he is conducting a scientific test here in Les 2 Alpes. Jones' final verdict is that the wheelbase is too short and the manufacturer has labeled a medium as a large. -Sven Martin
Lee Trumpore leads Anka and Keaton Ward from another church refuge in the Alps somewhere in our "transitional" stage to Les 2 Alpes. -Sven Martin
With 9-to-5 practice tomorrow, the grass on track won't be around for long. Especially the way some people push the boundaries of the spirit of the tape of Enduro. -Lee Trumpore
Fresh off his DH win at the Leogang iXS DH Cup, Loic Bruni, gives Sven his best Blue Steel while getting his bike prepped for some enduro racing -Lee Trumpore
Tracy Moseley leads the Women's overall in the Enduro World Series so far and is looking forward to Anne Caroline Chausson's return. T-Mo dropped us today. -Sven Martin
The weather in the Alps changes quickly. You never know when you'll get caught in a golden hour shower. -Lee Trumpore
Trying to stay as far away from Sven as possible. This is the view of Stage 2 and 4 as seen from the start of Stage 1. -Lee Trumpore
Swede Hanna enjoying time away from her over-bearing @steelcitymedia boyfriend who is probably editing another #ThisisPeaty video right now instead of riding his bike. -Lee Trumpore
Between taping the course and extinguishing his burning brake rotors, Chris Ball talks about the differences between the first three stops of the Enduro World Series. -Lee Trumpore
After a podium in Punta Alla, Emmeline Ragot sat out out Round 2 in Val d'Allos. While her primary focus in on World Cup downhill, she's still a racer. Don't expect her to hold back when the clock starts running on Sunday. -Lee Trumpore
It's his birthday, so Jon gets himself another shot in the slideshow. -Lee Trumpore
TIE. This is Europe -Sven Martin
Being in Les 2 Alpes means it's Fondo, Raclette and Hot Rock time. Happy Birthday Jon Cancellier! #meat -Sven Martin

Three rounds, three distinct flavors of riding. The Enduro World Series marches onward through the French Alpes with the third race landing in Les 2 Alpes. A four-stage, single-day event, Les 2 Alpes features one of the stiffest climbs during a timed stage yet and prolonged, steep and technical courses.
