After a hip-breaking injury in Val di Sole earlier this season, Cedric Gracia has finally ditched his wheelchair and was able to make it to Leogang, Austria to witness the 2012 UCI World Championships. His stoke is contageous as he talks about the support of his friends and his plans for the future.

Having met the CG in person, the one thing that really sticks out is his committment to the fans. He came out to a small regional race (to support a friend of his launching a business), and he was happy to ride with us in pouring rain and awful mud, and took time to talk to EVERYBODY throughout the day. Not often you find athletes at this level of any sport who are genuinely still interested in the grassroots. Welcome back CG! We missed you! We haven't had ONE SINGLE ONE-FOOTER in a race run since you disappeared!
