Cam Zink Wins Dual Speed and Style at Crankworx Europe - Cam Zink Wins Speed and Style at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes - Mountain Biking Pictures - Vital MTB

Zink lets his racing roots shine through with a combo of freestyle trickery as he wins the SRAM Dual Speed and Style at Les 2 Alpes today. The format was dual slalom with 2 jumps that were judged. If a rider 'won' a jump, they were deducted one second off their overall time. So if you came down the course with a 26 second time, but 'won' both jumps, your total time would be 24 seconds. It was a cool battle between racers and trick riders.

There's a rumor over on Dirt that Gee was injured in this event, blown out ACL. Any confirmation? Super bummed if so, was looking forward to Gee at Rampage after his 2010 gold.

Bummer about the injuries, it looks like an interesting event mixing up riders that would not normally race together.
