Devinci Global Racing and Dave Weagle have been working together to develop a new version of the Wilson DH bike.

Chances are good that you've seen Steve Smith, Nick Beer, and Mark Wallace testing the new bike on the World Cup circuit.

We were told that this is the 5th version of the prototype, and the result of two years of development. What actually goes to production may be different. Devinci says they wanted to show the development process. Interestingly, the bike was quietly released online in the past few days, which may indicate earlier availability. Three different build kits and a frame only option, all with two colors, can be found online.

Changes include a shorter stroke shock (3.0 instead of 3.5-inches) and 204mm travel from 216mm. Visually, it's easy to see that the shock mount has changed too, moving to the downtube. The rear shock mount has a clevis that allows Devinci to reduce the seat tube hole size, improving stiffness.
