2012 Commencal Meta AM
It features 150mm of travel, front and rear, and utilizes Commencal's new suspension design.
Introducing the Commencal Meta AM all-mountain bike.
Commencal's new design was developed through their Supreme DH V3 downhill bike and trickled down into the Meta AM.
Over-sized 15mm bearings provide a torsional stiffness, but also a little bit of compliance, which is what a trail bike needs.
The suspension design is optimized around a 2x10 drivetrain.
The Meta AM uses BB-92 press fit standard.
Stiffness is achieved in many ways, one of which is the 12x142 rear axle, using mAxle technology.
The bike features a tapered head tube and internal cable routing to keep things looking and sounding clean.
The Meta AM, a true downhiller's trail bike. Thanks to Nico and Commencal!
Modern geometry features longer top tubes and shorter stems and the Meta AM is built with that in mind.
Low and slack, that's what Commencal believes an all-mountain bike should be.

Shimano BB92 will let you run saint cranks, so yes. As for the steer tube, if the Meta is using the same tapered headtube as the Supreme DH v3, yes, there are cups you can press in the reduce it down to 1 1/8 on both sides.

can you get a head set adapter sort of thing that alows you to use a normall 1/18 steerer tube? and can you get a press fit BB that will fit saint cranks?
and will a saint hub fit in the back end?

Weight is of less concern for me than for most. I don't weigh my bikes. I have a 36 on my AM bike and climb / pedal all day on it. I also ride a Supreme DH v3 and the shock is in the same location. Just came off a dirty, rainy DH session. No issues. I dunno man. Lotsa overthinking, I think : )

Meneone-
Well since this is an all mountain bike it has to pedal... Its marketed as a bike that climbs so there for a 36 and even the newer lyrics are longer travel, heavy. This fork as aimed at am and not am/dh... and yea the mud and shock has to suck

Who would buy this bike complete? Not me. Stock fork is irrelevant. And ya, the shock will get mud on it. Good thing FOX considers this in R&D or we would all be in trouble.

if somebody wants to explain to me why they didn't go for a slightly burlier fork - e.g., Lyrik or Fox 36 - I'm happy to try to understand what you tell me.

All dirt coming from a rear wheel will be on a shock.
