2011 Fort William World Cup Downhill Finals

Greg Minnaar and Tracy Moseley take prestigious wins at the 10th running of the UCI World Cup at Fort William. Gee and Rachel Atherton were a close second and powerhouses like Sam Hill had a less-than-stellar day.

Danny Hart was looser than a bucket of worms - fantastic result for him and Brook. The next generation are snapping at the old dogs heels...

Hard luck for Gwin - he had the turbo lit. Really looking forward to this weekend's race.

Bummed for Gwin, Gee, and Stevie Smith.... would have liked to see how they would have done if they didn't have those race run problems! Congrats to Hart, Brook, and Greg for their big accomplishments!!

Really love the last photo. Nice to hear everyone being congratulatory to each other and humble. Loved how stoked Danny was when he crossed in 2nd, not the usual angry headshaking we've come to expect from other riders! What happened to Barel? BTW, Tthe new Vital slideshows are amazing!

Phenomenal stuff, guys! It's good to hear the real story from Gwin and Gee rather than speculating.

Acadian, the Atherton blog says a rock flipped up into the wheel.

Gee seems to be having tough luck with those Saint rear wheels. Didn't he completely blow one up the previous weekend?
