Event: The Bromont Classic

Ski Bromont, the largest mountain bike park in Eastern Canada, is hosting an event that will surely become a tradition: "The Bromont Classic." The weekend’s events include dual slalom and downhill racing, as well as an airbag session and a party thanks to the help of Maaxx Events

Friday May 25

Inscriptions : 8:00 à 9:00 am

08:00 – 10:00 :  On-foot DH course inspection

10:00 – 17:00 : DH training*

10:00 – 17:00 : Dual Slalom training

19:00 – 21:00 : Qualifications Dual Slalom

* Special lift ticket prices for Friday’s practice: A $ 10 discount on the price is granted to 2012 season’s pass holders: $ 20 with a season’s pass / $ 30 without.

Bring proper identification, your FQSC license and cash. Tickets for the Rider's GLOW Party feat. TB1 & David A will be available for pre-sale "Croque-mitaine" ($ 10).

DOWNHILL

The course will be in track # 18 from top to bottom, without # 18b. It will bypass by a surprise section in the track # 9, which will add speed on the course.

There will be 4 categories: Girls / Amateur / Experts / Pro.

1750$ to win for the pros:

1st : 1000$

2nd : 500$

3rd : 250$

DUAL SLALOM

The race will start at the bottom of the  "SnowPark", departing on pneumatic gates. The course is construct to allow riders of all levels to register for the event.

The race will be divided into two sections. Friday, timed qualifying runs will determine the top 16 riders, who will advance to the final on Saturday. For the final, there will two heats per group. After the first heat, racers will trade lines and race a second time. The two heats cumulative time determines the winner of the round, who advances to the next round.

RIDER’S GLOW PARTY Feat. TB1 & DAVID A (18 ans+)

Not to be missed, the official After-Party Classic Bromont. Beginning at 10:00 p.m. the Saturday, this legendary party will be held at the mountain’s bar “La débarque”! Two electro artists have been invited to create this boosted atmosphere! As the riders have given their 110% to shine during the day, the evening will continue to shine with a warm GLOW. You are cordially invited to be the most colorful, or as white as possible, the effect with "blacklights" will be successful, guaranteed.

Once tickets are purchased pre-sale, you just have to come to the main entrance of the bar (150 rue Champlain, Bromont, QC) from 22:00 with your receipt or proof of identity to claim them. (Parts of valid identities required at the door)
