Nukeproof to Partner with the Spanish “DirtyFlows” Team

The Nukeproof name has been synonymous with tough, high-performance components since the early days of mountain biking and our latest generation of frames and parts builds on that heritage while at the same time meeting the very specific demands of today's MTB disciplines.

Designed by riders and built without compromise.

The Nukeproof Spain/DirtyFlows team draws riders from all corners of the Iberian Peninsular all of which have been the Champions of their country in the recent past despite their young age.

Eric Portillo is the elder statesman of the team, but he’s still a young gun at 20 years of age. Hailing from Castourdiales in Cantabria, Eric has been Spanish Champion on more than one occasion and is eyeing up a top 10 overall in the iXS European Downhill Cup in 2012. Taking his style from motocross, Eric has a flat out approach to riding that is great to watch. Eric will be competing in Spanish, Portuguese, Maxxis and iXS Downhill Cups.Juan Antonio Pascual Heredia has been winning DH races in Spain and Portugal since he was in the Cadet class. He has the nickname “Krazy” for the crazy big jumps he builds. Hailing from Malaga, Juan Antonio has access to some of the best DH trails around, with many heading to this area from Britain during the off-season to train. He will be riding a custom build Nukeproof Scalp DH bike, built with Nukeproof components including Warhead bar, stem and post, and Generator Race wheels. Juan will be competing in the Spanish and Portuguese Cups as well as Maxxis Cups. Carmen Rosa Martinez started riding bikes through dirt jumps, street and some BMX. Hailing from Vigo in Northern Spain, it wasn’t too long until downhill was shoved under her nose. The World Cup circus coming to her home town was too strong a draw to resist. Since then, “Rosi” has been multiple Junior Spanish Champion and is looking to make a successful move into the elite category at the Spanish Championships, Galicia Cup and Portuguese Cups.
