Intense Introduces the Carbine SL
To follow up on the success of the Carbine, commonly referred to as “the best bike I have ever ridden,” Intense Cycles, California are proud to announce the release of the Carbine SL. The Carbine SL is super light at 5lbs, with 4.75-5.25 inches of travel.  It is the perfect bike for the rider that wants the superior handling qualities of an Intense, and also wants the benefits of shorter travel.

This bike is stately, fast, light, responsive and most of all – it has the exceptional ride quality of an Intense.

The Carbine SL will start shipping April. Pre-orders can be made now.

69 degrees is quite good for real twisty singlwtracks in my neck of the woods - lots of medium g outs!!! the 74 seat tube will help on the ups also! This reminds me of a Specialized Pitch with shorter travel. Should be good....

If they didn't go after the cast of Jersey Shore for that gross guido SX a few years ago, they probably won't go after Intense for this.

hopefully Specialized's lawyers don't go after them over that paint scheme...

Agreed...It is a very nice looking bike and I like the standard routing for the Adjustable Seat Post
I have a few issues with it still:
    - No 142mm rear axle - which ishould be standard on all bikes
    - No ISCG05 Tabs - especially with the new BB90 and with 10sp sweeping the nation into single ring
