HIGHLAND OPEN/AM SLOPESTYLE RETURNS AUGUST
8TH
(Northfield, New Hampshire) – After a short break following
the successful 2nd Annual Claymore Challenge, slopestyle competition
returns to Highland Mountain Bike Park on August 8th for the 2nd round
of the 2009 Highland Am/Open Slopestyle Series.
The event, which is open
to all levels of riders, features two competitive categories; the Amateur
Class, for beginner and intermediate riders, and the Open Class, which is
intended for expert and professional competitors. Both groups will have
the opportunity to compete on what the sports top freeride athletes dub
“the most fun slopestyle course” in the sport; the Dave Smutok designed
Killicrankie Slopestyle Course.
Registration for the event is now
open online at www.highlandmountain.com and will remain open until 6:00 pm
on Thursday August 6th. Riders can still register for the event on-site
up until 11:00 am on Saturday August 8th.
