FOX Announces Factory Athletes for 2013 2

Talk about a stacked roster! DH World Champions, Enduro stars, FMB winners, have a look at who's on FOX for 2013 - are your favorite riders and/or teams on the list? Press release below...

SCOTTS VALLEY, California - March 6, 2013 -Spanning all disciplines, FOX’s 2013 first-class roster is comprised of World Champions, National Champions and elite athletes.

FOX—the industry-leading ride dynamics company—is excited to announce the athlete list for the 2013 season. From World Champions to brand ambassadors and industry leaders, these riders are the face of FOX.

Santa Cruz Syndicate

Santa Cruz Syndicate remains a powerhouse team with 2012 World Champion Greg Minnaar, World Cup win leader Steve Peat and Josh Bryceland.

GT Factory Racing

FOX is eager to welcome back the 2012 World Cup-winning DH team, GT Factory Racing, with 2008 World Champion Gee Atherton, 2008 World Champion and 2012 World Cup Series Champion Rachel Atherton joined by Dan Atherton, Marc Beaumont along with newcomers Taylor Vernon and Martin Maes.

Yeti/FOX Factory Racing

Continuing a great relationship that started in 2004, Yeti/FOX Factory Racing has a strong team with Cameron Cole, Jared Graves and standout Junior Richie Rude.

GSTAAD/SCOTT

Downhill standouts Brendan Fairclough, Patrick Thome, Floriane Pugin and Emilie Siegenthaler bring a lot of talent to the well rounded GSTAAD/SCOTT team that also includes Adrian Weiss, Mirco Weiss and Noel Niederberger.

TREK World Racing

Coming off his first World Cup win, Brook MacDonald joins Justin Leov, Neko Mulally, George Brannigan and Greg Williamson of Trek World Racing.

Polygon - Hutchinson United Ride

Recently crowned female Junior World Champion, Holly Feniak, joins 2013 Australian National Champions, Mick Hannah and Tracey Hannah, Fabien Cousinié and Guillaume Cauvin.

Team Norco International

The Norco International Team is made up of the dynamic duo of 2011 and 2012 U.S. National Downhill Champion Jill Kintner and Bryn Atkinson.

Aaron Gwin

The most dominate downhill racer over the past two years, winning nine World Cups and the 2011 and 2012 World Cup Series, Aaron Gwin has been with FOX since the beginning and will continue on Specialized bikes with FOX suspension.

Luna Chix

Luna Chix are the winningest cross-country World Cup team with Olympic and World Championship Bronze medalist Georgia Gould, 2011 World Champion Catharine Pendrel, Katerina Nash, Shonny Vanlandingham, Danelle Kabush, Suzie Snider and Teal Stetson-Lee.

BMC

One of the most recognized names in mountain biking, Julien Absalon joins the BMC team with Francois Bailly-Maître, Stephen Ettinger, Martin Fanger, Lukas Flückiger, Florian Golay, Jérémy Huguenin, Reto Indergand, Moritz Milatz, Ralph Näf, Matthias Stirnemann and Julien Taramarcaz to complete this impressive squad.

SCOTT-3ROX RACING

The well-rounded Canadian trade team, 3ROX Racing, will include Geoff Kabush, Derek Zandstra, Amanda Sin, Mikaela Kofman and Cam Jette.

Trek Factory XC

Bringing a long list of top level athletes, the Trek Factory XC team consists of 2012 U.S. National Champion Sam Schultz, Canada’s Emily Batty, rising star Annie Last, Dan McConnell and Rebecca Henderson.

Enduro Teams

With the rise of enduro racing, many riders are selecting FOX as their suspension of choice. FOX’s talented enduro athlete list will include Commencal’s Remy Absalon and Nicolas Queré, Cube Action Team’s Nicolas Lau, GT Factory Racing’s Dan Atherton and Martin Maes, Trek World Racing’s Justin Leov, Yeti/FOX Factory Racing’s Jared Graves, WTB/Cannondale’s Mark Weir and Jason Moeschler, TMO Racing’s Tracey Moseley, Transition’s Lars Sternberg and Katrina Strand.

Trek C3

Trek’s C3 Project is pushing the limits of mountain biking with riders such as highly skilled and charismatic Cam McCaul, slopestyle threat Brett Rheeder and pioneer Andrew Shandro.

In 2012 Thomas Genon of Canyon bikes placed third overall in the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour and finished the season off with a win at Red Bull Joyride Crankworx.

Darren Berrecloth of Specialized can be seen in everything from movies like Red Bull Media House’s Where The Trail Ends..., national television spots like The Today Show, huge events like Red Bull Rampage and the Bearclaw Invitational, and throughout the media everywhere.

Big mountain and enduro hero, Matt Hunter, continues his ride on Specialized and FOX, showcasing his adventure lifestyle through his compelling videos.

What else can be said about GT’s mountain biking icon Hans Rey? His experiences get covered all over the world and FOX is proud to partner with this legend.

Rocky Mountain’s Thomas Vanderham has come a long way from growing up with freeride pioneers to having some of the best style of any rider.

Other individual standouts that will be in the headlines this year include Kamil Tatarkovic, Scott Beaumont, Casey Groves, Brendan Howey, Tom van Steenbergen and Mitch Chubey.

Motocross

Premier motocross athletes Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, Wil Hahn, Justin Bogle and Michael Byrne cross train on their mountain bikes to match the intensity and skills needed for motocross. FOX is proud to support these riders with mountain bike suspension to keep them at their best.
