2013 has seen the formation of the Pivot Cycles Factory DH team. The team will be at all 6 stops of the World Cup along with both Crankworx in Les Deux Alpes and Whistler. We will also be competing at the Sea Otter Classic and most stops of the BDS national DH series in the UK.

The Team will consist of Bernard Kerr and Austin Warren for the DH side of things and Bard Kerr for 4X.

Bernard is going into his 3rd year riding for Pivot and is now stepping up to the factory team. His highlights last year were 13th at Val di Sole World Cup, King of Crankworx Europe and 18th at the final World Cup in Norway along with almost achieving glory at the whip off worlds but not bringing his whip back!

"Im stoked to be on Pivot again as i love their bikes and all the people at the company that help me achieve where i want to be! I cant wait for the year to start, as I'm out in New Zealand riding at the minute and loving it. I think also having a mechanic and pits at all the World Cups is going to be amazing."

Austin has not yet done a full season but we have been so impressed with his riding style and results. In his first ever world cup placing, 23rd, then a year later ย placing 38th in Mont Sainte Anne and 40th in Windham all whilstย stilla Junior. We believe Austin has a lot more to give and we want to help him do it on board Pivot.

"Being on the 2013 pivot factory race team is such an opportunity that I would never have thought possible. Now that I'm given this opportunity I'm going to do the best I can do for the 2013 season. For my first full season of World Cup racing I'm looking to be strong and confident. I want to come in and bring myself to the top of the game. Being overseas, I'm going to really take it all in and make it feel like home so I can ride at my full potential."

Bard is a previous 4X national champion and is going into his first year as a Junior. He will be competing at the Sea Otter Classic along with all the 4X nationals in the UK and as many of the 4X Pro Tour stops as possible.

"It means so much to me to be on the team for the 2013 season, it will give me the chance to achieve the goals I want and need to this season. It will be a great support system for me and I am super stoked for this year and to ride Pivot."

The team is super excited for the year to start and would like to thank all sponsors for coming on board to help; Pivot cycles, Schwalbe UK, One Inustries, Spank Industries, RePlay XD, Squirt, Bluegrass/Met, WTB and X- Fusion.
