I've just donated $25 to a trail network I have no intention of ever riding on!

No drive-train to break, can shift any time and well pedal over very rough terrain. Maybe one of the smoothest DH sled made right now.

This is awesome. I got 2 tickets! Bike is not that messy. Imagine upgrading the Alfine to Di2 at some point. I sold my DH bike last year and NEED a new one so crossing my fingers on this one.

Yuck! Who would pay over 7 grand for that when you can get a specialised demo 8 for less than that. That just looks messy

Dude try one, its awesome, it wipes the floor with a demo in my opinion. Also Derailleurs are pretty damn messy when you think about it ;-)

Coming off a 2011 Demo onto a zerode, all I can do is laugh at this comment, the zerode is a hundred times better, and I didnt break a single derailleur off, and come to think about it, I didnt do any maintenance either. Have fun drinkin' the specialized kool-aid

i have a 2012 Demo. amazing ride, no doubt. i have ridden a couple of Zerode's with different set ups and there are many areas that the Zerode schools the Demo, the Zerode is an exceptional ride in my opinion. but i guess if you're buying for looks that might not matter...
