RESULTS: Timed Training from the Lourdes World Cup DH 3

Riders and fans alike got their first taste of the 2016 UCI World Cup Downhill season with timed training in Lourdes, France. The steep, rocky course is an intimidating start to the season and rain had plagued the region prior to today. The course managed to dry out a bit, but conditions were still slick, especially when the rain came down during the last 40 minutes of training.

Timed training is for the Top 80 riders only and has no bearing on final or official results. Riders can choose to go as fast as they want. It is a general gauge of times to come on qualifying and race day, however.

The Top 6 in Elite Men were separated by less than one second!
