Santa Monica, CA– November 20, 2012 – For the second time this year, the Red Bull Signature Series will be featured on TODAY, one of the nation’s top morning shows, airing daily at 7am ET. Tune into NBC on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22 to see correspondent Jenna Wolfe enjoying an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Red Bull Rampage, the world’s most prestigious freeride mountain biking event. The segment is a sneak peek for the jaw-dropping competition that will air as a full-length two-hour broadcast on NBC, December 8 at 2 pm ET.
Jenna Wolfe journeyed to the backcountry of Utah with the Red Bull Signature Series for the second time during its inaugural year, to sit down with acclaimed mountain biker Darren Berrecloth. Over the course of two days Wolfe and the TODAY show crew received unprecedented access to the Rampage course, even getting on bikes themselves to push their personal limits.
Earlier this year the TODAY team traveled to Baldface in Nelson, British Columbia to sit down with snowboarding legend Travis Rice, as they learned about Supernatural, the first of its kind backcountry snowboarding event.
