Hutchinson UR News : Tracey Shoulder Injury / Queenstown Bike Festival results 1

Only one month back from the Indonesian team trip, the whole Hutchinson UR team is still preparing for the season.

Fabien and Guillaume are shredding the New Zealand trails in Queenstown and this week have been taking part in the Queenstown Bike Festival. They managed to win the Super D race in the "team of 3" category, racing with one of the teams new mecanics; James Tilbury. Yesterday Fabien and Guillaume came 4th and 5th in a very close downhill race : Only 1.5 seconds separated the top 5 riders , Fabien had won the seeding run.

Fabien and Guillaume raced the Enduro which had 4 awesome stages in the middle of an amazing landscape.Guillaume finished 34th and Fabien finished 5th just behind Sam Blenkinsop, Remy Absalon , Nicolas Quéré and James Nicoles.

Holly is spending her time at home in Canada making to most of the few days of nice weather to get out on her bike and is really happy to have a clear view on what races she needs to prepare for this season.

Mick and Tracey have been training very hard in Cairns. Between the DH track, the road cycling and the gym, it has been nearly non stop since they have got back from indonesia. However we have recently got some bad news as well - Tracey has broken her collar bone after crashing on a jump she was filming for the team video. She was well taken care of at the local hospital and was operated on that same day. The break was clean and the doctors are satisfied with the way the operation went so it should be a speedy recovery for Tracey who should be out just matter of weeks. She is obviously very disappointed to get injured again but as usual she is already thinking about training and getting back on her bike.

We wish Tracey a speedy recovery.
