Results seem to match what I saw. Had Gee added some tricks into his run, he'd likely have won. Much like Claw likely dropped a spot on the podium with each bobble.

What's important is the bar continues to rise!!!

Zink may have landed himself on ESPN, but with commentating like that people are going to want to hit the mute button. Awesome event. We need a series like the www.freeskiingworldtour.com and more big mountain competitions to keep the progression going. Crankworx and slopestyle events are great, but there is a need in this realm as it can be successful, using skiing as an example.

Gee/Zink each had one huge move... Claw had multiple laarge ( albeit not quite as "huge" ) hits and some gnarly bike handling skills just to get setup and link them.... Not to mention the rather large 360 he threw off a dirt lip. His run was waaay more diverse and tech than anyone else's. They should have a 'best line' award in addition to 'best trick'.... I'd rather watch unique lines and flow all day than people trying to land new tricks off the same man-made stunt(s). I guess I'm old school though.

To me, the Claw had by far the hardest line, and yeah, maybe a couple of wobbles, but really well ridden nevertheless. Looks like they rewarded Zink and Gee for nailing the 2 biggest stunts of the contest. Zink's run had nothing special apart from pulling the stunt that the whole world got to see (ESPN baby) - he just had to win after that. Gee's run was sick, so cool to watch, really flowy and faaaast, but without the transfer at the end, he would not have made podium I think.

I probably wouldn't change how they placed, looking at it again.

i could watch gee's run 100 times and still be entertained. such amazing riding and the helicopter footage was unbelievably sweet!

Claws line was sick. too bad for the bobbles and kinda looked like a case after the wall ride. Seein all three back to back i think the results are solid. So uhh, shut the front door!! ha!
