2011 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup: no four-cross in Windham
Date 13.04.2011
Description:
The 2011 edition of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano will get under way in less than two weeks with the first round in Pietermaritzburg (South Africa).
A modification to the programme for the seventh of the 10-round series has been announced: there will not be a 4-cross competition in Windham. Only the cross-country and downhill events will be raced in the American resort – which is hosting a round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano for the second time – on the 9th and 10th July.
After Pietermaritzburg, the 4-cross specialists will meet up again in Fort William (GBR) and Leogang (AUT) in June, then Mt-Sainte Anne (CAN) in July, before the finals of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano which will take place this year in Val di Sole (ITA) in August.
