commentator said LOOK AT THE TIME! on the first rider .
Also talks about how rutted the course is ,when It looks smoother than Aline on opening day haha.
Someone should pop a rob warner commentary over this and see how it fits.

Man that doesn't seem so long ago...I must be old.
75-100 mil travel, v-brakes, single crown DH forks, except for King who's got someof the first RockShox triple clamp forks.
Nico ruling...Misser on a Turner w/ Kona decals, SUNN Factory team,
Wouldn't use those bikes on an Enduro course now a days, how much it's all changed.
Forget Warner commentating, where's Warners run?
he should have been on the UK Worlds team, along w/ Peaty.
Would have killed to see any footage of Worlds back then,
had to wait for Velonews to print to find out the results.

Boy Troy Lee helmets have come a long way. I used to have one of those plastic and a bit of foam, bolt on chin guard pieces. It's hard to believe that riders at that level actually used those things instead of a sweet Giro. Troy Lee should bring back that design, but with better materials and a quick release chin piece, for enduro racing.

Also, Organizers sold 75,000 tickets to fans for that event, about $12 a ticket if I remember correctly.
Leigh Donovan won the womens race that day, some highlights at the beginning of her (long) highlight reel here...
