Can anyone recommend an east coast resort relatively close (a few hrs) to Wyndam. Must have proper DH trails open mid week pref (in mid august) Dirt/rock and terrain similar to Wyndam and or Mt St Anne. Any suggestions. What is Highland like and is it near?

Plattekill is only like 30 minutes away but I definitely would not call that a resort, they do have sick trails though. I think Diablo in Vernon, NJ would be the next closest place. After Diablo it would probably be Killington and Mount Snow.
I would definitely hit up Plattekill if you are going to be in the area.

Maybe Whiteface??.. It has a 5km downhill track that would be good to train on. Its got some loose, rough and tough terrain too.
