So, this guy never heard of MIPS or anything related to impact absorption, right?

Good that it incorporates the 'etag' (electronic toll payment system) into the helmet so you won't need to take spare change with you for tolls along your favourite bike path or trail.

Based on the quality of the renders, I'd guess it to be a school project, that somehow managed to pick up steam. I would get fired as a professional designer if that's what I would present. I doubt this will ever happen though, whoever made it, has no skill as a product manufacturer, and they'll go broke trying to find somebody who actually has the expertise to do so.

The fact that those techs aren't readily available, means that this helmet is going to cost a pile of cash to actually design/manufacture, and that's where this helmet hopefully dies. I don't think people will buy a helmet that is that ugly, and will cost 10x more than their walmart quality commuter.

Where are the vents? It will needs it own air con system, what a BS idea! Australia is seriously the dumbest place in the world when it comes to road rules and attitude to cycling. Its the only place in the world where u get fined if u dont wear a helmet, need i say more.
