Completely dependent upon the build. build to suit. I had a santa cruz bullit for a long time that started as a 44 pound full bore freeride/dh bike, that converted eventually to a 36 pound freeride bike with a dope build. The geometry, travel, and fork will be the biggest indicators of what a bike can do.
