Currently I ride 4km on a full squish, which takes me about 10-15 min and it is totally worth it. The max would probably be a 60min but the place would have to be amazing and an easy route.

If it's somewhere I can actually ride, ie safe jumps/drops, I would ride an hour to get to it if the trails getting to it were fun, or the trails coming back were fun.

the trail "lithium" in jackson, wy is pretty much as far as i'll go on a big bike, and thats only because that trail is sooo much fun!
it's about 1,000 vert, and a mile or so before it starts down hill.
