i am trying to figure out what year model my specialized p2 cro mo is
i recently purchased a specialized p2 cro mo from a guy that had no idea what year it was manufactured, I was wondering if there was any way to figure out maybe serial numbers or i can provide a picture if someone can just look at it and give me some idea.
I would talk to a shop that has carried Specialized products since the beginning of the P series. Other wise go straight to the source and call Specialized. They should be able to tell you based on the color scheme, or failing that by the serial number.
. The bike came without a front brake installed, i know thats the hot setup for a dj bike, but want the extra stoppin ability. The bike came with 3 extra brake calipers and 2 rotors, but i cant get the caliper once mounted to allign with the rotor correctly. are there normally brackets or spacers used on the front for mounting. also should the fork also have holes for useing v brakes. just need more stopping power.wheels311 wrote: i recently purchased a specialized p2 cro mo from a guy that had no idea what year it was manufactured, I was wondering if there was any way to figure out maybe serial numbers or i can provide a picture if someone can just look at it and give me some idea.
