What are they for? All that travel and slick tires? They're obviously made from Mountain Cycle frames. Maybe that is the future of urban downhill.

There was a company called Motoped that was selling conversion kits that use 50cc motors combined with Honda CR50 plastic and downhill MTB components. You could either pedal it or start the engine, very similiar to above photos.

I googled it and he's right. Motopeds look like a lot of fun and they're made right here in Santa Cruz! www.motopeds.com I sent them a resume, but they're not hiring right now.
