i need strong rims
I just switched over from BMX
I love dirt jumping... But every time I do a 180 in the street or a 360 in the dirt I bend the shit out of my back rim... I'm riding a 26in wheel set... They are Alex rims but I'm pretty sure they at XC rims... I'm kinda on a budget but can anyone suggest some rims I'm getting sick of truing my rims every night
look into halo rims
ok i found the sun ringle rhyno lites for really cheap but the rim joint needs to be welder not pinned/sleeved?
ya i dont think they make the sun ringle rhyno lites welded... kinda sucks..... but with a 26in rim is it more likly to bend with spin tricks? should i go down to a 24
You might want to check out the Azonic Outlaw Wheelset. They are pretty cheap compared to a lot of other wheels yet are still strong and they come in a variety of colors. I have used them on my Dirt Jump bike for a year now with no problems.
I personally have been running Atom Lab Trail Pimps... they have outlasted 2 frames and a fork. I have 3 spokes missing, and have for months, and they are still reasonably true. I'll be buying them again if they ever get too beat!

Halo sas 48spoked rear 32 front they won't skip a beat
36 front not a 32....my mistake
their are 2 diff rhynolites the reg for xc witch is pinned then their is the rhyno lite XL witch has a welded joint, eyelets and is much wider and makes for a nearly bombproof wheel can be had on many websites fairly cheap if you can swing it look for a wheel builder after you buy any factory assembled wheels and have them retensioned or taken apart and reassembled by the wheelbuilder it may cost an hr labor but youll and up with a better stonger wheel . I personally have a set i have on one of my bikes reassmbled by a good wheel guy had them now since 2001 only trued the rear 4 times the front twice i am like 250lbs and do alot of urban riding such as stairgaps loading docks lots of drops and jumps to flat . lotsof city riding etc. so i know they will hold up just remember ifyou go ryhnolite get the XL in either 32h or 36h .
