New To this game.

Well the P1 is a great starter bike. Itis pretty much set up right out of the box. The fork for this bike is a straight up swap for a 80-100 mm geo if you ever wanted to get one for it . A rigid fork any lower however on this frame will be tooo low since SBC already maxed the geo out .

i know very little but would a Fox Float fit and is it worth it?

In my opinion, the price of a Fox fork is not worth it unless you're swimming in money. Particularly for park and dirt jumping, where you tend to run them quite stiff. I'd say try a Manitou Circus fork as they're relatively inexpensive and easy to tune with shims for excellent firm feel. And no I don't work for Manitou.

True a fox is a pricey option. The circus expert is a good deal. Can't really vogue for it though since I never owned or rode one but have heard good things thus far . I personally like to use Marzocchi dj 1 and 2 forks. they are very tune able if you know how to and there are tons of write ups on them all over the net. Rockshox are good to the pike, argyle and sektor. Other good forks are the X-fusion series Velvet , vengeance and enix . The good thing about x-fusion is they are pretty fairly priced and have the same performance of a fox fork in it's same class. Other than the circus I have ridden all of these and can say they are great choices.

What should i look for in a shock fork? do i even need one should i just stay with a ridge fork?

If you ride fine , you don't need it. Sus forks are more for dj and or really nuts type street riding like drops of 10 foot stair cases.

yer, rigid are good for park and just keep them until you find some spare coin? and check out marzarocchi they are pretty decent, but susp are more for bigger jumper ie dirt jump, but you get use them for park and street
