Looks like KS is stepping it up again. Here's the latest incarnation of their 6" drop post prototype. Note how the hose doesn't move when compressed, and you don't need holes in your frame for internal routing.

Nice. I want one. Being that I stand 6'7", four or five inches just isn't enough travel to be effective for me. I wanted to get a RASE post with 9", but I heard that they come with a lot of play brand new. I hope this one is solid.
