New Tubeless Sealant and Products from Slime 2

Realizing that they've fallen a bit out-dated in the tubeless world, Slime has returned in force with a new premium tubeless sealant. It's a synthetic latex that doesn't coagulate until needed, is CO2 compatible, coats the tire consistently and includes fiber in the sealant to help seal flats. The Slime Sealant will last 6 to 9 months without refreshing and can fill holes up to a quarter inch.

Slime demonstrated the coating ability of the new sealant by including their tubeless premium sealant against a few competitors in clear balls. The balls were coated and allowed to sit for a few minutes showing the difference in products.

Slime is complimenting the new sealant with tubeless valves and tubeless rim tape. The rim tape uses a 3M material for the outer side and is combined with an adhesive from another company that Slime owns. The tape is transparent making it easy to ensure consistent adhesion through a quick visual verification when applying the tape.

We were also introduced to Genuine Innovations' tubeless repair kit and "Side of Bacon" tubeless plug refills. After puncturing a tire and allowing Slime to seal it, we verified that the Genuine Innovations tubeless plug tool works very easily and very well. Stab it in your tire, twist it, pull it out and get back to riding.

www.slime.com will keep air your tires.
