- Bike Checks
The FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports), is the biggest action sports event of its kind in the world. Created almost 20 years ago, the FISE brings together the best international riders in skateboard, roller, BMX, Mountain Bike and wakeboard, for 5 days of insanity, with 25 competitions in pro and amateur categories. The particularities of this event are the free entry and a unique competition format, open to amateurs, the future champions.
3D map of the event venue below - the least you can say is that it's one hell of a set-up!
Here's an onboard course check of the full MTB Slopestyle course, with Louis Reboul. Sadly, the wind got in the way once again in Montpellier, and only half the course was used for the event in the end.
Over 400 000 people come and watch the event in the heart of Montpellier each year. For this 17th edition, the FISE Montpellier will be aiming even higher, to go even bigger with a exceptional list of invited riders (the world’s best in each discipline and riding areas built by specialists and improved each year to make the show even crazier). As for the mountain bikers, the quality of the field is guaranteed by the simple fact that this is an FMB World Tour Gold event, the first gold event of the year - so expect to see the world's best throwing down like there was no tomorrow.
