working on it!

32 up front and a 9 sp 11-34 on my 6" bike. gets me up burly climbs and gets me going as fast as i want to go. I live in the mtns and ride a lot of pump track...

rode our pump track three out of four days! singletrack opening by the day here too!

i haven't clipped in since 1997, mainly because i'm squirrely. ride lots of uphill and downhill on a scott ransom 30 with shimano dx's. kind of like ski touring on a set of rockered fat skis and marker dukes- it's all where your priorities lie. 5.10s ... more »

i didn't say there wasn't lift-assisted mtn biking here in SV, but i'm not going to call it a bike park. also, what is this "goatshed" trail you speak of? i've lived and ridden here four years and have never heard of a trail by this name.

sun valley does have equipped lifts, but no true dh trails on their lift serviced mtn. due to usfs lease issues, chances of building a new dh trail on the existing lift-serviced mtn by the time of nationals is slim to none. however, sun valley owns a ... more »

to each their own. personally, i like riding a 6.5" bike with flats everywhere- along with strong, athletic women.
