Once again ridiculously expensive product launch pricing. I'll be waiting a year or two until a cheaper version comes out.

Specialized now goes for patent on "jersey with pockets" then goes after every road company that has been making jerseys with 3 pockets on the back since the dawn of time...? Nice work.

If you're wearing a road helmet, why not wear a road jersey? Road jerseys have pockets.

So 2 jerseys is not hotter than one jersey and a pack?

And about the shorts, I think it have to be uncomfortable. It could be a better solution a short with pockets, if you need

Well, I dont know where you ride, but that bikes works great in technical trails, steep, with roots, mud, slow sections,... I said that because you wrote it like a veredict and people have to say that in other places it's not true. Possibly in a really really technical trail a 26" is betther than a 27.5 or 29, but this is only a particular case. Of course, I know some trails where possibly I can't corner or it could be very difficult with a 29... In high-speed trials with roots and Little drops I fulminate my own chronos of 26" with a 29"

Well, excuse my really poor english

P.D.: I love RM Slayer ;-) I had got a ETS-X

I've recently ridden a Nomad 26", Tallboy LT 29" and Cube Stereo 27.5". I enjoyed all bikes on trails, singletracks and trials, and I think all are good bikes to have fun, because "to have fun" is not a bike, is an actitude. Today all brands have really effective bikes in all kind of wheels. I think we have just to select the one we think is better, and stop judging

Come ride the course and make up your own mind before you start to snark, eh? Every course is different. Keene has his choice of bike to run and after practicing on the course, this is what he chose....more

If you want to be anti-Specialized, just say so. Pros run black box, prototype, development, custom stuff all the time. It's both part of their job and one of the perks. According to your logic, Gwin...more
