I agree with the comments above in regards to just hearing nature when riding the trails but there is something awesome about the buzz of a rear hub like the Chris King. My votes on the loud hubs.

One more....this was my DJ bike back in 2004. Note the fat tires, 24" back wheel, burly BMX crank...I think this bike weighted around 35 pounds.

That cabin is awesome. I think you are right about the ladder bridge on top of the roof (at least thats what it looked like from the initial sketches of the course). Would be kind of cool if they added a jump on the side and build a big wallride off ... more »

It will be interesting as to how they build the "big mountain" concept into this course, besides ladder bridges and big drops I don't know what they can really do to showcase the talent of the big mountain riders. Either way, should be a cool event, ... more »

I read somewhere the Red Bull is now the sponsor for the Slope Style event. It also said that the course will be designed by Redbull athletes such as Darren Berrecloth. Should be sweet.
