Looks like a big improvement from the current maltese falcons which are not very good for AM style riding. The velcro strap is basically useless. Pull it too snug and the tendon on the top of your foot is sore and restricted.

The Good: Love this jacket! Quality design and features...lightweight and breathable. Two things that I like when putting in miles prepping for enduro season. This jacket doesn't get in the way and is good looking to boot. The high pocket entries ensure that whatever you put in them won't fall out if you happen to leave the pocket unzipped.
The Bad: Be careful with the inside headphone port as it is stitched into the mesh material and can come out if you tug hard on it. (might have been just mine)
Overall:
Royal is always stepping up their product offerings year by year and this is again another great jacket. I love the color choices, I went with blue, and the overall style of the jacket. It works well on the bike which is the most important function of this jacket. I don't think I'll ever use the headphone port but that needs a little reinforcing.

Affordable high quality AM bike!
Rating:
The Good: Great riding bike with solid suspension. This bike can do anything and comes with a life time frame guarantee! Pretty hard to beat.
The Bad: Slight bob on climbs but it's not that noticeable...it IS a trail bike so you will be giving up something to gain all of the other great features of this bike!
Overall:
I've used this bike for the past two years (this model replaced my '10 but it's basically the same) and ride it everyday. The weight is a non-factor for me since I do ride it everyday. Where the bike excels is when you point it down hill. Solid design from a cool small company out of Washington.

They talk about not having to use a chain guide and that they didn't drop a chain. Did you see the video? That chain was whipping all over the place, if he had pedaled it would have been off. Time would be lost for sure getting that chain put on if you're in the middle of an enduro race.
