Ok, this got me thinking of some other awesome shows i've seen in the past couple years... Bomb the Music Industry - (day 1 of 2) final show at some Polish meeting hall in Brooklyn. The Slackers opened. BTMI played like every single thing in their portfolio. ... more »

I'd like to do another TP...if Ash is willing to let me! Unfortunately I was not feeling fit enough to enter for 2016, plus the new dates were a potential conflict for a major work event. Maybe in 2017

Honestly, I think the rate of change has been unnecessarily fast. It has confused riders as to what they should buy. It has pissed off dealers who get stuck marking down perfectly good merch because it's not the latest most in thing, even if it was only ... more »

Slack HTA aren't the sole component of it. A long eff TT plays a huge part. Get your body positioned best, low BB keeps COM low for cornering and stability. The HTA increases proportional to useage of bike for GT. Fury > Sanction > Force > Sensor ... more »

Ok, lots here to digest... Bikes in Philippines - I'll pass on info to our Asia market distributor rep. I will say that some countries have their own import laws on bikes. I'm not sure what they are in Phillipines though. Team - The team schedule is ... more »

No he's not with GT. I think he was with Lifeboat but not sure really. And yes, I've cooked some Chix Tikka before, particularly at some races. See above.

Well, I won't cook it at races anymore because the 3x I did Stevie Smith had big offs or flat tires so that's some voodoo shit. Ok, so I make a mixture of cumin, paprika, and curry powder. I mix with plain yogurt. Coat about 2-3lb of chicken breast (not ... more »

Hard tires are on my shit list for sure! But, short travel can be lots of fun on the right terrain. I prefer the Helion (110) over Sensor (130) in most places.

Cheers littermag...errr Vital for this opportunity! I'm off to make some dinner. Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer as I can.

We actually make some Zaskar X models specifically for the UK that have meatier tires, 120mm forks, bigger discs, and 1x. Outside the UK there hasn't been too much traction for that type of trail hardtail unfortunately. Funny, the bike I was riding just ... more »

Dude the old bike is completely unrideable vs the new bike. Look how many WC wins the new bike got. Like it won on it's 1st weekend it was so good. Edit: Oh and since you pressed by text, Ed Masters had the most unridable bike, yet he's fast as fuck. ... more »

It'll take dollars and (air)time. EWS is making something happen because they're the only ones doing it and they had a clean slate with which to work. For DH there are a lot of ingrained behaviors and resistance to change. As much as lots of us as fans ... more »

The electronics can help, but not in cutting out the weight or the cost. We're just now scratching the surface on this one. Some more stuff is on the horizon. The game might go totally crazy in 2-3 seasons with a couple of the ideas I've heard discussed. ... more »

Undoubtedly yes. GT as a brand needed the Athertons 4-years back and they needed us. We developed some really great bikes together, won some World Cup and rainbow jerseys, and had a good time. We're both amicably moving in separate directions. No animosity ... more »

The MTB market is aging. The entire cycling market is aging. Selling mountain bikes to young folks is increasingly tough, but not for the reasons lots of people think. It's because too many people in western countries, of prime riding age are unemployed ... more »

The entire global DH market can fit on the head of a pin. In the US it's even smaller. The wheel recall was on certain models, not across the whole range.

I think I got paychecks for 6-mos total. I left on good terms. They needed me to move to Morgan Hill and I was not in a place in life to leave the East Coast. I was brought on to help land Sam. To their credit, they threw down the gauntlet to get it ... more »

1) Hucking is still a thing? 2) Day two was better than day one. But they sounded worlds better than when they came thru NY last year.
