The next best thing to actually having a penthouse.

The Good: Top-notch quality. They come with a British accent. Traction is like a Stage 5 Clinger. You instantly go faster, just like, BAM. Pretty sure they are made from asteroid metal because they are tougher than Thor. If you want to feel planted and STURDY LIKE A MIGHTY OAK TREE (yell from atop a mountain), then these are probably for you.

The Bad: If you have an "adult job", then these will cost you about 1-2 days pay. But you without a doubt get what you pay for.

Overall:

It should be noted that the customer service they provide is unlike any other company in the industry - it is so, soooo good...like the truffles at your rich cousin's wedding (delicious). I digress:  I encountered a bizarre and unheard of issue, one so extreme the employee on the other end of the line asked my to repeat what I said, but once the problem was established, the problem was taken care of without hesitation.  The pedals and the company should be the set standard for what quality and service are like with any and all industries.  Big fan over here, if you couldn't tell.

Worth Every Penny

Rating:

The Good: Light. Bomb Proof. Great "under foot" feel - stable, big, "connected". Easy pin replacement. Great pin pattern and traction.

The Bad: Pricey - but you get what you pay for.

Overall: Awesome. Worth the buy, my personal top preference for flat pedals. If you have problems with ripping out pins and clipping rocks, these will take the abuse and keep your feet in place at the same time. Also great if you just want your feet to stay planted and apply power without hesitation. Spot on design and construction.

Rating:

The Good: Speed. So, so fast. Suspension is ahead of its time and the geo is perfect (i rock low/low). Full on race machine and I would buy it again. Took everything I rode it into and got me out the other end. If you want a no-compromise, bred-to-race frame, then the Revolt is your go-to choice.

The Bad: As acknowledged by Evil, there were some initial tooling problems and quality control issues. However, this was the fault of the factory and the guys have lost countless nights of sleep trying to rectify the problem. With a new, small start up company things won't be perfect right from the get go. But hands down, Evil is a company that the industry needs, riders should want to support, and the media wants to watch [their riders]. So really, there is no bad. Perhaps one might call it "growing pains"...

Overall: The Revolt is a top choice/pick in my book, and everyone who rides them agrees that it is a fun-tastic design. I love riding bikes, and the Revolt contributes greatly to the enjoyment of my time on the trail.
