The cool thing to see though, is that in years past, you would have been able to look at the rider list and take a good handful of people who would have some major troubles with jumps like the hip into satellite dish. Looking at the list right now, pretty much everyone is on the same level of riding and has a equally big bag of tricks as the next rider. Going to be an eventful show I would say.

The OG course drawings were a little better then the course that is built, but that is how it goes sometimes. It definitely looks a lot better then years past, that's for sure! The main let down for me is them not building the multiple lines on the shed... that, and the hip section in the drawings would have been way more entertaining then how they actually built it.

Mitch's Oakley kits that he has been riding this weekend were so nice! I also find it funny that "Sender Stevie Smith" has gone from the Canadian Hucker name to "Smooth Canadian Style".

Blenki and Brook MacDonald are still on the flats program and mind you, Brook beat Stevie + a lot of other boys on clips last weekend. Clips have a definite advantage though, it's just if they suite your riding style or not. Look at Blenki for example, he is my favorite rider to watch race and there would never be that off the back, aggressive, flat-out-foot-out style if he switched to clips. It's pretty much the same idea as getting braces for your teeth.

Highlands has THE best course in slopestyle. The weather just wasn't cooperating with us and it made it a little difficult, but it was still awesome. There was no "awkward slow stuff" on the course at all and we all had a good time.

OK, never mind I just watched the track analysis and I now see why everyone hates the track.

Holly SHIT that hip is BIG! Need a 9t for that one for sure! Duncan was completely spun out going into that and probably cracked his rig on that wad of a case. Why is everyone so bothered by the track? Just cause it's fast an open? Gwin might take it with that attitude...

Speaking of Josh switching to SPDs this season, anyone notice Steve Smith running them as well?
