Maxxis HR 2.35 UST Fr and R this past season and most seasons, in fact. Did the Crossmark 2.25 Fr and 2.1 R the previous season and was very much surprised at how well they did with regards to durability and cornering traction. Would have done HR 2.35 ... more »

Haters can hate, but I think it's gonna be rad to see one of the most amazing bikes out there under a rider who used to race national level DH, THEN goes to slopestyle and THEN rides FMX and THEN complains that mtb slopestyle features are too small. ... more »

I think it would be awesome to pull out now and then. I generally don't wear more than knee/shins, but if you were to try a big new sender (think last month's Decline cover), or race a gnarly track all out on your race run, I'd put it on. Nice option ... more »

Wah wahs were an awesome surprise for me. Two+ seasons and going smooth and strong. A lot cheaper than the high end brands. I'm currently trying out some Deity pedals which seem like copies of Wah Wahs (probably made in same Taiwan fab) and we'll see. ... more »

I think bike shops do not need to carry cell phones and work all hours of the day or night. This isn't healthcare, for Christ's sake - we're just riding bikes here! Nobody (the larger sports community) cares about DH racing and I hope it stays that way. ... more »

The "sponsor anybody" (including me) programs are problematic at best and evil at worst. They definitely undercut local bike shops, can screw the "sponsored" rider with ridiculous shipping arrangements, lack of availability (for help, product backorders, ... more »
