beautiful machine! well thought out build too. Thinking about going XTR's... do you have issues with brake fade on long downhill runs?

is it worth to switch from fox to the rockshox rear shock?

In my opinion it is worth. The Monarch plus performs better for sure plus it's a rockshox so it's easy to service, to find spare parts and in italy is way less expensive than fox. I'm not really a fan of fox.
Ah! Another thing, the stock fox had the remote that I didn't need and want.

    Hi,
thx for your answer! Im switching to RS now i have a question about the rear shock, was it possible to just replace the fox with the RS? i mean did u need to buy new bearing's?

Yes I just removed the stock DU bushings from the RS and put the ones that were on the fox

Nice ! Do you think that a revelation and an rt3 rear shock would also be fine with the altitude or do u prefer the pike and rc3? Since the revelation is more affordable

I think it really depends on what you do but a revelation in my opinion would be more suitable to a trail bike. I use this bike in some really rough trails and the pike is way better for that I think. The same applies to the shock.

That basically sums up my thoughts, i guess i will go for the pike setup then
