It means ropo won't be wasting his talent flying all over the world to pedal up dirt roads just because specialized wants to sell trail bikes.

What's up with the removal of expected ship dates? Is this a 2016 model replacement thing? Are the bikes that are already sold out done for good?

You think if I twist your back and then we go get on some carnival rides, we could get those symptoms to return? I've never seen you puke. Let's have some fun!

Meh. Still just mountain biking injuries.

I only do it to other people's bikes once I find out they're princesses about their little precious grips or whatever. And that's only because punching them in the face is illegal.

I've had so many pairs of mavics (with wheelsets still going 10 years deep) that I even know the insanely easy fix for that little bead rattle they sometimes to. And I always come back to them because everything else I've run on my dirtjumpers I've mangled....including ... more »

Yeah ghetto pinned rims are 'better than' welded seams. Better for splitting maybe. Those rims are fine but they most certainly do not have stronger seams.

Mavic 721s built up with straight gauge 2.0 spokes. None stronger. They're not the lightest but you'll be landing sideways from 15ft in the air before you kill them.

Aside from the larger seal surface area, what in god's name are you talking about? If a fox fork is 'sticky' it's because the seal are dry, jut like any fork from rockshox or marzocchi or whomever. Those 2008-2013 boxxers were some of the worst suspension ... more »

If you call/email him, I'm sure he'd make some for you. I still had to do a tiny bit of filing on one of the apdapters (so he needs to change one measurement) but I think this was the main reason he wanted to check it maybe sell some kits ... more »

I already owned the 40 and a friend was nice enough to loan me a charger damper. That's honestly most of it. Whole forks are expensive.

And the last generation (pre charger) boxxers were so horribly designed I wasn't taking any leaps of faith ... more »

Well, when I can back off compression damping and spring preload, and the fork still stays up to keep taking hits, I have to believe there's something to that rapid recovery sillyness. I'm actually going to try and figure out how duplicate it in the ... more »

I had adapters made my Vorsprung suspension in Whistler. It's two pieces. One is a sleeve reducer for the top part and the other is a spacer for the bottom since a charger damper is shorter than the fox FIT setups. When you hear people talking about ... more »

It's pretty much been my life's work. Enough mistakes and you really learn what specifically to aim for.

Very loud, very dry, very audible cracking farts every time I get in the air. On command, and on fire. The kind that make even Queen Elizabeth giggle.

I'm definitely not a fat biker and I know it's not feasible to have the same standards between fast bikes and fat bikes. Which is exactly why screwing with solid, proven and available standards just so they're compatible with plus sized bullshit deserves ... more »

As an avid fat bike enthusiast, I can tell you that merely tossing aside the concerns for these engineering masterpieces is only selling the cycling world short. We need every dumb piece of crap marketed to us because we've already made it obvious we're ... more »
