I own shimano brakes on all of mine so I try to store them anyway possible that's not straight up. That way when I roll out into the street and realize my brakes need to be pumped 20 times before they work, it makes it a lot more exciting in traffic. ... more »

I've done it with two different bikes, including the trail bike I'm currently riding. With the same 27.5 fork or a 26" fork with a 10mm higher axle to crown, you'll drop about half an inch. With a 26" fork, you'll drop about 0.7" Depends on the frame ... more »
