#1Cable routing needs to be on the inside of the linkage..not on the outside like you have it #2Frame needs anti-abrasian frame protection from cable wear/down tube covered for rock strikes #3 No KMC TI/DLC chain? #4 No Shimano Saint brakes? #5 No titanium bolts on the rotors/caliper mounts/headset top cap/? #6 Jannk wheelset you have--get an industry 9 classic w/dt spokes and i9 dh rims #7 SixC cranks, buy them, now #8 Shimano ice rotors, buy them, now #9 Don't run a Chris king headset--dumb. Cane creek makes a DH friendly set--trust #10 MRP G2 chain/bash?? dude..E*13 or at the least the new MRP G3 #11 A High Roller in the rear?!?!? Are you stoned? Butcher front, Butcher rear #12 10sp? I know you tried 6sp..but save the heavy cassette for the Specialized Status build..make this a 6sp cassette!!! The cost of the frame deserves it #13 Get an XX shifter--bit lighter than the XO (or just go full saint, IMO) -AND- #14 Get a Thomson Elite/Masterpiece seatpost and ditch that goon Chromag saddle--get a WTB Devo w/TI rails --oh yea..and the Dorado is questionable to say the least--ps, pick up some Oury grips and for the LOVE OF SHIT!, protect that rear end with thick opaque/clear plastic to avoid rocks ruining it/chain slap. BET SON..THAS HOW YOU BUILD A FUCKIN BIKE AND GET BIKE O THE DAY!!! (look into industry 9 colored direct pull spokes for added bling..but could be sketch? Experts say its stronger AND lighter..BET) ---- OH ---- AND YA DIDN'T POST A FINAL BUILD WEIGHT W/PEDALS!!! SUSPECTTT!!!!!!! (Could be SO much lighter/stronger in ALL the right places; Wheels, brakes, rotors, rear tire, tubeless?, 6sp cassette ((less sprung weight!)) & chainguide) DONE

only thing it needs to be 100% dialed would be; Cane Creek DB air shock, I9 Enduro wheelset, Shimano Saint brakes, 203mm front rotor, 1X10 gearing with a direct mount 34T front chainring, Rock Shox Lyrik rc2 DH solo air fork & a KMC TI chain--that's about it. You REALLY need to shore up your V10 build..it's not minor things that need doing un-like my rig. Your shit is beat..bruh

ooooo bro your ride looks mean as, you must be really happy with that build!
Im jealous I dont think I could ever be able to dream up such a build like that. I really wanted spokey dokes and maybe a baseball card in the back wheel but my sister said dont do that but then I showed her your bike and she was really impressed too. I hope you have alot of fun on that bike I have read in magazines that they are great off the shelf, where can I buy one??? I want one just like yours, does target or walmart have these I hope so they would be the most rad places if they did.
When you say I should shore my bike up what do you mean? should I take it to the beach and stand it there or something to take some photos..... I hope that wasnt a spelling mistake your mom wont be happy.
Where do you get your ideas from I would mind having some trick bits on my ride but I dont think i could afford anything that could make it look as boss as your bike, whats your secret?
I am so glad you have pointed all of these bad points out to me I dont know how I could have gone on living this life knowing my ride was of a poor standard unlike your bike but I was curious..... do you have big hands? whats going on with your shifters do you like to pick your nose with your thumb when you shift?
they only thing that got beat here my friend is probably your meat stick behind the curtains while sitting on your computer looking at my bike.

..oh yea, and with a camera as nice as yours, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD--take a half decent picture of your bike. You clearly went out of your way to take a 'money shot'--make it so! Case in point..the last picture you took--why is the bike leaning against the wall? It's not the center of the pictures attention..you REALLY needed to lean the rear tire against the black wall and have the bike slightly pitched toward you, head-tube first. Would have made it look fast and a bit more aggressive..not all leaned up with a, "I'm taking a picture of my bike" type shot--JEEZUSH! This is a fuckin Ferrari of bikes..and all you do is lean it up against the wall, Huffy bike style. Lame? Shot of the bike only in the city? Lame? Not out in the wilderness or near some *sweet* jumps? LAME!! Bro...step it up

A dorado on probably the stiffest frame on the market.... Yeah that's dialled in allright.. Also ten speed... Come on how many gears do you use? 6 maximum.. Don't get me wrong this is a dream of a bike, but not everything makes sense. Not that it needs to make sense, but I'm just jealous I don't have the cash to build a bike that only has 2013 parts on it, just because

I dont understand where everyone is coming from saying that these fork are really flexy, the old ones were but these feel a lot different compared to them. Does a bike actually ride faster with stiffer forks? I recommend try them if you haven't
as for 6spd I have ran that already a few years ago works well loose a few grams but I dont mind riding everywhere so it helps up the hills.
    cheers

I just ment to say it probably is more in sync with an intense or something, since they are a bit more flexy themselves. The upsidedown forks have a lot more pro's than con's I must say, it's just that I don't have the time nor the money to maintain them. My guess is that you might even need more strength to ride a stiffer bike.

Anyways, that's one very sick looking bike dude. Ride it hard.

Advertising - best consumed in small doses, and don't mix them with each other either.

I'm going to Dorado from 40 because I want something with less deflection - stiffer doesn't mean better.
